The long waited Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are soon here. The devices have been rumored since the fall of last year with expected specifications, renders and leaks provided by different people. At this point we can certainly tell what we are going to get. Samsung is unveiling these two phones in their Unpacked event today.

The physical appearance and aesthetics of these two devices is something to go on about judging by the final renders and leaks we’ve received as days closed in to this event. It’s evident most manufacturers are now headed for near bezeless display smartphones pushing the body to screen ratio even smaller as with the LG G6 launched earlier, now the S8 and S8 Plus follow suit but even retaining Samsung’s iconic curved screen display both at the front and on the back.

Other specifications we know is that the standard S8 will comes with a 5.8 inch screen with 1440 x 2960 pixels. It will carry the very latest Snapdragon 835 chipset an octa-core CPU and an Adreno 540 GPU. It will come in two internal storage configurations 64GB or 128GB and 4GB of RAM. The primary camera will be a 12MP sensor and the selfie camera of 8MP. A 3000mAh battery with quick charging and wireless charging.
The larger S8+ will spot a huge 6.2 inch screen with the same resolution as the standard S8, a dual camera 12MP setup at the back and the selfie camera of 8MP. The battery a little larger at 3500mAh. The two phones will share the same CPU, GPU and RAM.
