The year is almost nearing to an end and just at the beginning of December Google has announced the most trending from Play Store. This is essentially content from Play Store that has received the largest number of  downloads or viewed through out the entire year of 2016. They are categorized by Apps, Games, Music, Movies, TV shows and Books globally in 2016.
Herein we shall take a look at the top five within these categories with more emphasis on apps and games
TOP TRENDING APPS of 2016
1. Face Changer 2: It’s a fun interesting app that allows users swap faces between friends and with your favorite characters. Morph heads, add face parts, funny hats, silly glasses and hundreds of accessories, stickers, backgrounds and more.

As earlier stated, Google also listed the top trending streamed songs of 2016 having Stressed Out, Twenty One Pilots take the lead, top five movies that had Deadpool take the top spot, top TV shows where Game of Thrones got first position and and top books of 2016 that had Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe by Cullen Bunn lead.
